Sal pinned the drawings to the noticeboard. Travellers stopped to recognise themselves and one another. The violinist took his instrument from its case. The woman in yellow boots brought coffee from the kiosk. A teenager arrived breathless and reached for the notebook, then froze when she saw the crowd. "I thought nobody noticed," she said. Sal handed her a pencil. "You missed the driver." She drew him leaning from the cab, trying very hard to look patient while everybody laughed.
